I am a Presidential Graduate Research Fellow at the Department of Biosystems Engineering - Auburn University, USA, and a permanent faculty (Assistant Professor) at the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Purwanchal Campus, Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
I am Biosystems Engineer with 7+ years of teaching and research experience, focused on resource assessment, waste management, and waste valorization. Passionate about advancing sustainable solutions through innovation, collaboration, and leadership. Advocate for waste management at the local level and contributor to national policy on waste-based fuels. Committed to cross-functional teamwork, sustainability initiatives, and serving students, institutions, and communities.
My main fields of scientific interest include Resource potential assessment, Bioenergy, Waste valorization, Thermochemical conversion, Sustainability, Bioeconomy, Crop production, Climate change, and Energy and Environmental policy. My research touches mostly on SDG 7 (Affordable and clean energy) and SDG 12 (Responsible consumption and production) of the United Nations (UN) goals
My academic research has been published in renowned international journals, including Renewable and Sustainable Energy Review, Energy, Earth's Future, Renewable Energy, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, ACS Omega, Applied Thermal Engineering, etc. I have also published Op-ed in leading Nepalese newspapers, including The Kathmandu Post, Lokantar English, Blast Khabar, etc.
