Discussed my understanding of waste, its management, and how improper waste management harms humans and biodiversity. In the interview, I mentioned our ongoing project of paddy straw management supported by #UNESCAP and the Sanitation Engineering program supported by the Gates Foundation. In a nutshell, I highlighted the necessity of regional-level actions to develop laws and regulations that will reduce open burning, lower air pollution, and mitigate the impacts of climate change.
